llms.txt Generator

llms.txt is a Markdown file at your site root that gives AI systems a curated index of your site. This generator drafts one from your page's actual title, description, topics and links — nothing invented. Review, edit, then publish to /llms.txt.

Honest expectations

Google has said it does not use llms.txt — it carries zero weight there. Some other AI systems may read it, so it's a low-cost optional extra. What actually moves citations is extractable on-page content: definitions, statistics with sources, comparisons, self-contained passages. Check yours with the GEO Score Checker.

FAQ

What is llms.txt?

A proposed convention: a Markdown file at your site root giving AI systems a curated index of what your site is and which pages matter. A proposal — not a standard, and not used by Google.

Why does the draft need editing?

The generator only uses what your page actually says — link labels are derived from URL paths and may need friendlier names, and you may want to add or remove pages. Publishing unreviewed generated files is exactly the habit GEO tools shouldn't encourage.
